‘Cause I Skinned it, Bent it and Been in it...
By request of Phi Alpha Omega on Jan 1, 2010 was dug out the traditional time capsule laid by their organization a decade earlier in the center of Fisher College Campus, Boston, Massachusetts. Among the items recovered, at the bottom of the pit, on the damp black earth of Boston harbor, was found a magazine titled ‘Cause I Skinned it, Bent it and Been in it by the polyphonous ennui; their manifesto printed on the cover. The magazine’s inside pages were alive with swarming maggots, running directionless but strangely keeping within the confines where the pages once were.
The editors of Polyphony On Line have sent out a call for letters to all those who knew the polyphonous ennui or read their magazine, to commemorate and reconstruct its content, and to remember the members of this eccentric group. A big thank you to all those who took the effort to write and we look forward to more of your exciting letters.
We’ll be publishing each letter as we receive them and so far they’ve come on a frequent basis in response to our genuine request on here, Craigslist and other free websites. We are listing the letters according to the date they were sent in, i.e. chronological order. Please help us further by placing our request for letters on your website or asking your circle of friends!
